"Nice guys finish last" UGH I disagreee with that statement and got into a very heated arguement with a friend over it. please discuss your thoughts on it!

So true, if you mean with women. I got this lesson reinforced for me recently. From now on, even if I think that I like a girl I am hanging out with I will never treat her too nicely again. Most attractive, young women are liars and phony anyway, they don't respect any guy who treats them too good. Just comes down as usual to looks, money, personality and make sure you maintain an attitude like you don't give a shit about them.

I just think there is a HUGE difference between being nice and being a whiny bitch boy pushover that uses the lame ass battle cry "nice guys always finish last".

of course if they never actively purse the girl and just act like another girlfriend they won't get far. if the guy is too scared to ask her out, too bad for him. but there are lots of girls who lead you on and keep you hanging on while you do far more than ask her out and she still ends up ditching you and banging some other guy.

Most really attractive girls with somewhat of a brain are already taken. The ones left are hard to catch, because they play the field like there is no tomorrow. I have had about 9-10 girls come in/out of my life in the last 2 1/2 months, yet I almost find it humorous. One thing I have recently learned (the hard way) is to not let a girl know your feelings about her too soon. I am not even talking about love here either... I mean "I like you, do you want to hangout" type of attitude. Once they know that you are OUT FOR THEM, you are screwed. As a single guy, it is very hard for me to find someone to get close to - without making her feel like she's "needed"... and being needy is a huge turnoff to them.

All the previous girls I've had before the one I'm with now I treated like fucking goddesses and they all ripped my heart out. The one I'm with now I've been with for 8 years and that's because I learned my lesson, women like to be treated like shit no matter how much they deny it. They want a guy to be an asshole most of the time and care some of the time. Or something like that, a weird mixture of assholeness and love I guess.. heh.

i'd say you're more on point than most cats in here. women tend to get bored easy & "drama" keeps them interested (who do u think watches SOAP OPERAS the most? :1orglaugh ). but yeah, a strong, confident man who is a bit standoffish & doesn't care TOO much will always get the braud. some lovey dovey, romantic cat is simple raw meat for a lioness to snack on :2 cents:
