How do you clean your LCD ?
 

Ok guys,
I got one small problem :) My LCD monitor is a little dirty...there are some finger-prints and I don't know how to remove them (clean them). There is no any glass which protects cristal, so I am not sure if cleaning it with water would be a good ideA ?

So can you recommend me some method how to clean it ?

Best thing i've come across.

I hose mine off with the pressure washer.

actaully me too.. i am asking the same question.. i usually just use napkin..but it won't get rid of the finger prints..

I use fresh Cum

:) No problem! Seriously though, you can use rubbing alcohol. Just put that on some toilet paper and wipe.

1) Turn off LCD
2) Lightly Wet a Papertowl
3) Clean Screen

Works for me.

Dont use the rough stuff though.

I include mine in the dishwasher with the dinner dishes cleans up nice and smells lemony fresh:)

I do that but use a glass cleaner like windex

I've read that windex is not recommended to use...

I think pure water will be fine...and maybe a little alcohol...about 50%.

there are some glass cleaners available in the local groceries. maybe that can help.

Don't use paper products or window cleaner products, paper products will scratch the screen and window cleaners will yellow the screen. Buy some pre-moist lens / lcd cleaning wipes or mix 50% distilled water / 50% alcohol and use lens cleaning cloths

This should do it.

use a damp soft cloth (warm water is fine), lint free and wipe gently, do press down hard, you won't need to, then lightly dry off with a lint free cloth.

Something that seems to work really well is baby wipes. then buff with a dry clean cotton cloth.

clean cotton 7 a little of alcohol will do.

With a damp cloth when ever it's a bit dirty

I use Swiffer or Pledge grab-it cloths to clean mine.

moist paper towel works fairly well...

a special lcd tissue does the job for me

You know I used to post the same question and researched it.

Then I said Fuck It, and now I use windex with a tissue and it makes it perfectly clean.
