Ahhhh the good old day.... just curious of how many people here would know of what I'm talking about :)

payed competitively
earned 32 k/ year on the tourney circuit when i was in college.

i wish i could turn in my physical cards for online cards.. *sigh* I strictly play online now...I have some pretty bad ass decks

I started out late with Revised....didn't have much cash back then to buy cards, but still could come up with some interesting, quality decks.

Won one large tourny in Montreal that got me some boxes and autographed art. I think I still have that "The Fallen" print around somewhere :upsidedow

Chaos Orb sucks, as soon as you whip it out everyone spreads their cards out

now the mox gems are colored instead of any color to tap *sigh*

played with brazilian team ... I knowed many top players also, as svend geertsen, thats my friend still in these days ... Oh gosh, I still love that game, but no time to play it anymore!

huh when moxes first came out there was one for each color

i had mox diamond that produced any color mana that had zero casting cost..maybe that was before the revisions ;)

i posted a thread about it last week with the sales on ebay.

my favorite deck colors... black/red by far... if i played tourney, white peons from hell with wrath of god and armageddon :D

The only card that I still have left is a perfect black lotus unlimited. I keep that one as a souvenir of many many hours of really good time. I think I probably played more to Magic than to lego when I was a kid ;)

see i got a weird collection because i played competitively , most tourney gave you boxes/cases as prizes (along with entry into the cash tourny).

It paid for my degree (fees, books, living expenses) and left me with a shit load of cards.

I think i still have like 30 or 40 1000 card boxes of cards, and like 1/2 dozen revised (3rd) sealed decks.

Given todays prices i was thinking of selling them all and maybe buying videopasscash :winkwink:

or another rental property.

it does fit rather nicely in this thread
