If IP's affect SE optimization, do Nameservers?
Lots of talk how IP's may effect a SE network/matrix, what with extensive crosslinking themed domains on one IP.
If this is the case, is it not possible that Nameservers could also affect this? (i.e 5 IP's one one server with same nameserver) Anybody have any evidence to the support this (or contradict)? |

Currently, there is no indication that Google is checking nameservers yet.
However, to stay one step ahead of the game, we are offering multiple nameservers along with the multiple Class C IP's. |

Indeed, 'yet' being the operative word. It only seems logical that if they're looking at IP's it's only a matter of time till nameservers start baring relevance.
I agree it's Better to be safe and prepare for down the road with multiple hosting packages like baddogs program which I belive offers multiple nameservers as well (right?) However, based on that logic, coudn't one also assume that they will then go after whois info, which (typically) would be the same for each domain....but what if you get whois protection...then the SE's couldn't determine the whois info....but...could they penalize for that.... ....gotta love SE |

Well, anything is possible . . . so it makes sense to modify things a little. ie: Jack Smith Jack L Smith J Smith J L Smith J London Smith all kinds of ways to get around and stay legal |
baddog, google will find your service and will start to research more ways to filter :)
