Do you mean the Bourbon update? if so this may be of interest:

I am sure by now most people have read about the recent Google update on about May 20, 2005.
This recent update named "Bourbon" stemming from the Webmaster Conference in New Orleans and if the streets had no name, I wonder what they would have called it, hence titled for the famous Bourbon Street.

Usually when Google does an update some good comes out of it in their ongoing quest to fight spam, alleviate black hat seo tactics and serve up better search results; however the Bourbon update was in place to fight off the "302 pagejacking" and if I may add a touch of irony to this, I believe this may have backfired since things still seem to be in flux, three weeks later, and Google themselves got pagejacked for "AdSense".

Did a search on that, looks more like an algo update before a google dance. Anyway, hasnīt google danced/updated since May ?

What I would really like to know is, when the last deep crawl was (usually a 3-5 day period before a dance). Anyone been deep crawled lately, it get the freshbot every day, but havenīt seen the deepcrawler at all, but as I said, I havenīt been paying attention. I have installed some PHP emailing when the bot comes, so far only the freshbot.

I have only been monitoring this for some 14 days, so if the last deep crawl was 15 days ago, I donīt have to worry about site optimizing right now and just wait and see what the deepbot spiders and what is actually indexed when that happens.

Excuse me, but I'm extremly dump. Could someone please explain the difference between deepcrawling and dancing.
Thanks!

Freshbot: Touched the surface of a site, usually the root index file.
Deepcrawling: the bot goes deep into a site and fetched a lot of pages.
Dancing: Building a new directory based on the result from the crawls. The index "dances" in that period because result search changes a lot.

That was the short version. Do a google on the terms :-)
