About The "Politically Correct" NYFD Firefighters Statue
 

If you weren't all ready up to speed.... The famous photo of the NYC Firefighters raising the flag over the WTC rubble, was remade as a politically correct statue by substituting a Black and Hispanic firefighter for two of the three men.

I read a comment in today's paper which I thought was poinient...

"They forgot to add a woman, pointing to where the flag should go!"

Politically Correct would be depicting exactly what the people involved were.

Sorry just me ranting though.

Its all bullshit if there was blading midgets raising the flag then they should get the credit, if its a 1 armed tranny so be it but when they change the memorial becuase of political correctness isnt that robbing the people who performed the act the three white firemen? I dont care if it was black firemen or not whoever raised the flag and were involved in that picture should be portraryed.

I was told by a friend of mine who used to work with the LAPD that in the US for every white male employed by the police they must also employ: one white female
one black male and one black female

and THAT is REALLY fucked up - Fuck I would like to think that ppl got their jobs based on merit and not simply to keep the statistics happy :Grrrrrr

The term is 'culturally correct'.

According to the sister of the cash donor, they wanted to represent the different nationalities. So I guess Asian people get screwed.

Fact is, in NY, most of the firefighters are Italian, Irish and Black. Not many mexicans running around.

She went on to say that they wanted to make the statue because the picture was such an insiration. When asked "If it was such an inspiration, why did you change it?". She had no comment.

It is one thing to blur the faces, as the 3 firefighters wanted, it is another to attempt to re-write history. Leave it as it happened.

If I was a terrorist, I would blow that mother fucking statue sky fucking high. People need to leave shit as is.

We also need to lock down our borders and kick out all these illegal alien mother fuckers. They do nothing but bring down the USA and it's economy.
