not all that rare. I just moved out of an apartment complex in San Diego that was also infested. They're fucked up little critters and resiliant. They spread like crazy and can survive without feeding for 6 months. Different parts of the country have worse problems with them than others and New York and San Diego top the list. Oh yeah, and hotels in Hollywood, Florida :winkwink:
