Computer crashed -> lost all my Firefox bookmarks

I`ve read about it on some forums. That`s why I try to export my bookmarks every other day to my backups folder.
I`m also starting to use the Opera browser more and more.I find it much faster than FF and also more stable.The tab saving and mouse gestures features are great.
It`s ad supported though so some people might not like that but it`s small adsense ads.And the no-ads version isn`t that expensive IIRC.

I upgraded Firefox and lost all bookmarks, fucking sucked.

do a search on your hard drive for "bookmarks.html" or look in Documents and settings user application data / mozilla / firefox / profiles for the bookmarks file

it only shows my new bookmark i added :Oh crap

mozilla has a bad habbit of creating new profiles when it crashes. I always keep a backup of the bookmarks.html file on another drive

Yep..it also locked me out giving me user already in use also..gave up and dumped the shit

Hasn''t happen yet, but i'm checking out Opera too. Definately not to be confused with "Oprah."
