On the Sunny Side of the Set

CULVER CITY - In the world of adult, actresses of the Indian persuasion are rare indeed (apparently they're really uptight over there or something), so when a looker like Sunny Leone steps in, it's well worth noting. The stunning, raven-haired, naturally-blessed Leone (who's folks are from mother Inja, Punjab, to be precise) made a splash as Penthouse Pet of the Year back in 2003. The dusky beauty has done plenty of glamour shoots and softcore, and is now entering the world of full-fledged XXX, Krishna bless'er.

Which brings us to a set in film Mecca Culver City for Ms. Leone's debut effort for Vivid, a heated piece of work appropriately titled Sunny, with Michael Biscoe directing. In addition to Leone, the film boasts some stellar boff talent: Lexi Marie, Jezebelle Bond, and newcomer Stefani Morgan, a sweet, svelte, 19-year-old blonde from Riverside who is scheduled to take on Manuel Ferrara. Quite a powerful introduction to the biz, no doubt.

At the moment, the talent is killing time in the makeup room, ladies lounging around in various stages of undress. What would be an eye-popping display of exquisite female charms in the real world is merely yet another day in porn. Stefani is chomping at the bit to start chomping on Ferrara's bit. "I can hardly wait!" she gushes. "When is it my turn?!"

Sunny hits the set, reclining on a large pink bed, as Biscoe calls for action. That's what he gets; the lady immediately locks into a sensual masturbation scene, ultimately involving a glass dildo that takes a hardcore spelunking trip into the Leone cavern. This goes on and on (which is great); afterward, Sunny sits down backstage. "How was that? I was afraid of the jelly roll," she says, grabbing her non-existent gut. She has nothing to be concerned about. She's as affable as she is foxy, and reveals things beyond a fear of the dreaded jelly roll.

"I'm a Taurus, we're passionate," she explains. "We're ruled by our feelings. I don't regret anything I've done." Not surprisingly, Leone's career choice didn't curry favor with her more traditional Indian parents. Recently, Sunny had a contract faxed to her parents' house. "My mom looked at it and said, 'What's double penetration?' She figured it out, and started crying. I put them in their place, I told them I'm not stopping what I'm doing and it's only going to get wilder!"
