Lens Why has my IP been banned?
 

I just tried to come to check out the board and I got a message saying my IP has been banned by Admin, So I tried using a proxy and got in fine, How come it got banned?

and i decided to ban everyone using the words rebel and soul. You know how celebrities act cousin :)

I think it's a science experiment... but then, at any given moment I'm dumber than a bag of hammers, so who knows.

The ban list is the same as the old board.

No new additions, although I'm think of adding Boneprone.

Lensman can you please check this IP to see if it is in your list 203.21.78.130

I've never had any trouble before getting into the board

203.21.78.* was banned back in Sept, for someone attacking the board.

It wasn't me Lens, I joined in Aug, Is there any chance of unbanning it so I dont need to use proxies?

Yeah, what the hell...unban it. Aussie seems like a good guy. If he fucks up again, unleash the demons of Portland ;)

deny from 203.21.78. effectively denies access to the entire IP block. deny from 203.21.78.130 would just deny Aussie Rebel. Its entirely possible that Aussie Rebel was blocked by accident. He must have a static IP and his exact IP isnt blocked. I cant see him attacking the board either.

Speaking of the board. Anyone notice that sometimes it just doesnt respond and times out ? I have been getting that alot in the last two weeks. The tracert shows 140ms at worst but the server just hangs.

this banning thing seems to work very well when you think how hard it was for aussie to come back :)

Thanks Fella's, by the way for the record I haven't been banned, it's just some sort of mix up with the IP thing, someome apparently attacked the board in september and there IP is in the same block of IP's that my ISP has , but my ISP is one of the biggest ISP's that deal with country towns so who ever it was has fucked it so now I have to use proxies to access the board,
Hopefully lens will unblock my IP so I dont have to use proxies all the time
