Lensman why can't I get email confirmation of a reply?
 

There are a few threads on GFY I like to follow and find it annoying to have to come beck time and again to see if anyone has added a reply.

So why can't we have an opt in on email notification of a reply being posted?

Or am I doing something wrong with my set up?

YARGH! Notifications set to instant email notifications for subscribed threads.
From Messaging & Notification section of options.

the option is there (default) probably has it disabled somehow
maybe it would be too much load for a board like this with so many posts

that would be great to have that option...the board moves so fast it is hard to even find the threads you have posted in that you would like to follow ...

I have it set for that, would be more helpful if it had only one option, No Email Notification

Good point, maybe opt in for certain people. Lensman and the moderators must have it. I think it would make the business threads more interesting and easier to follow.

I'm set for instant email notification and get nothing. Got it set like you said on my profile and on the reply, WTF am I doing wrong?
