Anyone use Napster?
 

I signed up last week, so far it's pretty good. I find it lacks a lot of releases though. I'm not the typical top40 kinda guy so finding shit is difficult for me. Also, the DRM technology chokes the system occasionally while waiting for a response from the napster servers.

Using right now! for some reason certain artists/songs are not available!

can you download as much as you like or is it limmited?

I used them for about 6 months. I didn't have any complaints. I've recently switched to Yahoo Music because it's $3 per month cheaper. $5 a month cheaper if you pay for a year up front.

I never tryed napster out.

can they be trusted with CC info?

Unlimited. but the second youc ancel your subscription it locks out all the music files. but still, at $10 a month it's a good deal. just wish they had more artists.

that was my thought also, but I used a credit card I never use, loaded my account with 20 bucks 8 months ago and still kicking, no issues whatsoever for me. And on all the albums they have user feedback and comments, no russian language all english and I havent read a damn thing bad. :2 cents:

I wouldn't trust ANYTHING with .ru in it. I can 100% guarantee they don't have the rights to sell you any song from major lables. Hmmm how in the fuck can they sell you a song for 8¢ and it cost at least 79¢ everywhere else?

i just made an account here .. rhapsody .. and I will probably upgrade to a paid account. you get 25 songs free even without signing up but the cool thing is that they have the full song to preview before you buy unlike itunes which only has 20 or 30 seconds.

8 months and waiting. Its a 200 dollar limit card. Tear it up :pimp

I have Rhapsody and love it. Definitely worth the $10. Perfect for people like us who spend all day in front of a computer.

Maybe I'll check it out. Anyways yahoo music unlimited is free for week and it's not hard to cancell.
