shit! I do tech support for about 300 25-50 year old students. Most of them this is their FIRST COMPUTER!

My parents are getting better with a PC than I am. They are telling me about wireless routers now.

just got off the phone with my father, it's a daily occurrence :(

:1orglaugh INDEED! The funny thing is that when I was growing up my dad was the fellow installing the first computer networks in developing countries across the world... It's very very odd to now be the one explaining new technology and the Internet to him!

Lol yeah I know what you mean... I will get calls from them at all times of the day. It's soooo hard explaining to them because they don't know any terminology.

My mom called last week and couldn't get on the internet. I was trying to have her check connections to the modem and router, but it was almost impossible because she didn't know what a router was and kept referring to the computer tower as the "computer box."
