Ok, I know most of us grab lunch while we're still pluggin away at the puter. So what's your favourite lunchy type food to munch while you're working?

I like whipping up a nice poached egg on sourdough english muffin with havarti cheese and tomato slices.

I like sandwiches, salads and chips on the side.

I keep finding food threads today, maybe I should go have some lunch.. :warning

I like to have cheese and crackers by the comp, and carrot sticks are good, along with cuke slices.. toast and jam is another lunch favourite - I'm pretty simple really, maybe my British upbringing? (we're famed for our food doncha know :winkwink: )

Anyways, I have to go eat now! :upsidedow

You can always call the chinese food store, and have them deliver what you want.

Oooh, heheh. Scrammle-eggs with cheese and ham, grilled cheese sammiches, veggies and dip, and salads mostly. Unless there's some leftovers I can heat up quickly. :)

There seems to be a common thread here. Grilled cheese and eggs rule the roost! Woot :)

Hahaha. On a chilly winter afternoon, nothing beats a hot cup of chicken soup and a grilled cheese. I confess, I prefer a blob of Miracle Whip on my plate for dippin' my sammich in. Lurv that tangy zip! :winkwink:

Hm, that's something I haven't tried. Sounds a bit odd, but I'm willing to give (almost) anything a shot once.

Try making grilled cheese with mayonnaise instead of butter. :thumbsup

I never eat while I work. When I do eat and want something fast, I usually make a TV dinner or a bag of popcorn.
