do both im a greedy fucker

Ramster 07-08-2005 10:19 AM

Quit me real job.

That's what I did a few years ago.

And remember with more time to work the net I bet you could get that "real job" income from the net in no time.

xlogger 07-08-2005 10:19 AM

Well lets say you work and you job for 8 hours and make X
Then you come home and work and make Y

If you quit and work at your home another 8 hours you could be making YYY.

pxxx 07-08-2005 10:20 AM

I will do both of them.

Ramster 07-08-2005 10:21 AM

Oh yeah, just make sure before you quit you have car loans, a house and anything you need that requires credit. The real job offers this whereas a net job might take a year before getting a credit required loan (depending on your savings, credit and income of course).

This is a common situation for most of the people on this board...

wtfent 07-08-2005 10:23 AM

If you just started making the money I would stay at your job a little longer just so you dont have to stress. But if your pretty confident the money is there to stay quit your job and work your business more and make it make you even more money.

XPorn 07-08-2005 10:24 AM

yea..its a tough situation. And yea Ramster I agree...the "real" gig is a nice base for health insurance.....etc....(also..have not forgotten about our IM thread....still figuring things out)

Although I gotta say...this is the kinda problem I don't mind having ;-)

as long as you are financially stable on your own, why work for the man? fuck a job

smack 07-08-2005 10:40 AM

i did quit the day job. best move i ever made. because even though you may only be making 2x's here now than your day job, when you get 24 a days to focus on your adult work, it really opens up your possibilities.

Why not pull an "Office Space" and just sorta loose interest in the real job and see how long they keep you. At least you'll get a severance package when they can you.

Pretty Funny... "I wouldn't say I have been missing it"

xlogger 07-08-2005 10:50 AM

The thing is i will never be able to do work all day at my house. That shit gets boring.

Living life is the most important thing for me, so it all depends on the amount of time required to achieve 'x'.

If any job requires more than eight (forty over five, M-F), I've already quit!

XPorn 07-08-2005 10:56 AM

I see you have learned of my real plan........

I'd have to say any person whom believes in being accountable for their actions, or who has a conscience, would never do such -- it's not considered a honourable action/choice and is no different from stealing shit from the office.

I do not believe in free rides/loading.
