People with Non Adult Merch Accounts, do you accept Discover Card?
 

I have it with Visa/Mc/Amex but might drop it cause seems small % use that card............

Anybody have % of discover card trans they would like to share?

I accept discover, less than 1% of my transactions.

We accpet discover its proably about 3% of our transactions

T&E cards like Amex, Diners Club, Discover etc. aren't really worth to accept, that's all I can say.

Visa and MC are about 98 % of sales on my end.

Discover called me actually while ago wondering why i wasnt pushing trans to em......... i blew them off at the time. Didnt want to tell em that there card is shit

I have several non-adult businesses and I can't remember the last time I used our machine to charge a Discover card. I would say we are at or less than 1%

Yes we take Discover but the % on non adult sales is less than 2% so they are not too popular ?

I can say, In the past my Disco % was always under 2%


I guess it's the card that doesn't give enough back.

Both Non-Adult and Adult should accept Discover. That 1, 2, 3% adds up over time and you can apply for a Discover account online.

We used to accept all of them but recently dropped Amexco because they wanted to start charging ridiculous monthly fees for "inactivity."
I told them it's THEIR fault their card doesn't get used, not mine. I'd be happy to continue accepting it, but I'm not gonna pay to accept it.

Most of them have other cards too and just use those for rewards etc.

You'll have more troubles with fees etc. when you accept them than it gets you actual additional money.

Around 2-3% every month.
