Because "balloon" is spelled "balloon," with 2 "O"'s. So maybe its some crazy German thing, like that spicerack thing in your fridge where you put the eggs.

whoa, whoa, WHOA there folks. The only version of that song that really matters is the live 7 Seconds version. The original is cool for kitschy german Debbie Gibson vocals, but Kevin and crew gave that song some soul and meaning.
