in short the sat reciver is mobile but this is expensive, the stationary one costs 800 in equipment and like 150 a month with tv as far asi remember.

Yep, highspeed DSL and also cable, but the DSL is alot better. And as far as a condo....I know of a couple...a one bedroom for $7500 pesos a month and a 2 bedroom for $10,000 pesos a month. Both are on the ocean although not in the hotel zone, beautiful grounds and really nice places :)

L....we are just 70kl past US border, in between Ensenada and Rosarito beach, its amazing to me now real estate is crazy here, on the beach the house we are in, easy over a million dollars....

Property that i looked at 8 years ago has gone up 10 times.....now with new "bank trust" you can as an american own the property and pass it alone to your children etc.

I know what you mean...if it's on the beach the prices are crazy, but the prices inland are so cheap. We decide to lease for a couple of years before we purchase anything in Cancun to see if we like living here...I think we will stay :)

No shit? We moved to Mexico in December and haven't been sick once. We use the water to brush our teeth, wash veggies...we eat at little restaurants and road side cafes. I wonder what makes some of you sick and others not...strange...Hope you feel better soon tho, it must suck to be sick while on a holiday:(
