I've also been wondering about Atlantis. What kinda prices and service is there? What is there to do etc?

Antlantis is nice but nothing special and tons of people.

Cayo Largo Cuba is great...4 star resorts but an awesome place that is quiet and relaxing. Sol Club or Sol Pelicanos are the way to go there.

Antigua is also very nice.

What's the point of going somewhere different and exotic if you are looking for all the comforts of a regular top-class hotel? That's like people who go camping and bring every electronic device known to man :2 cents:

I would recommend, as a compromise, finding some type of Jungle Resort or such, that could still be comfortable and classy, but not your regular hotel filled with tourists all doing the same thing.

Then again, to each their own :upsidedow

I thought you were living in Costa Rica already though, no ?

What about Fernando de Noronha?

Its winter down here but I guess these places are never cold.

Cuz im a lazy bitch and I demand having people bring my lobster directly to my bed. I will come visit you in the jungle in the morning with my camera and my mosquito repellant. :2 cents:

a friend just got back from bora bora - oh my god - the pics were amazing

MikeSmoke 07-07-2005 11:02 PM

Atlantis is definitely nothing special.
If you don't mind flying a long time to get to absolute paradise, check out the Seychelles. Absolutely fucking incredible.

Damian_Maxcash 07-07-2005 11:04 PM

The Cook Islands are great..... There r 5* resorts on Rarotonga, the main island but try the some of the outlying islands and its magical..... Some of the best reefs for snorkaling as well.

Its a good time to go as its not too humid

ive heard a lot of good things about that place.. i will definately check it out. and thanks to you too damian, that looks fun....

i was thinking of tahiti sleazy, bora bora is awesome... just like the more commercial base if possible. which im sure they have...

My dream place: A nice resort with amazing restaurants on the beach (white or black sand preferably), waterfalls nearby, monkeys are cool, bananas and coconuts are cool, easy access to local herb is a definate plus. I enjoy snorkeling/scuba, deep sea fishing, nude beaches, no terrorists. That's about it... is that too much to ask for?

oops... i forgot to add.. i require a plethora of pools/spas on the beach with bars IN the pool.
