Warchild, Nylz... Help about DREAMSUBMITTER

Hi guys !

Just wanna know what do you prefer in DS that is not in Chameleon submitter ?

I'm using CS but just wanna know if DS is better, and why ?

Thanks for your help guys !

WarChild 07-07-2005 02:00 PM

I prefer Dream Submitter because I use my custom database and not the same old shit everyone else is using. Dream Submitter makes this easy to maintain and has very advanced error checking for submissions.

Serious submitters use Dream Submitter.

Hinc 07-07-2005 02:03 PM

dreamsubmitter looks nice for sure.

skillfull 07-07-2005 02:04 PM

ive tried both, i found CS more easy to use but DS more complete :2 cents:

Am I the only one that uses AS??

Nifield 07-07-2005 02:15 PM

I havent actually used chameleon, so i cant really compare, but some of dreamsubmitters newer functions are allowing people to use multiple link codes and multiple templates for a single submission, so for instance, i can submit my anal gallery and specifiy which of the following combinations i would like to use on a PER site basis:

1. link codes with popups / template with 3 recips and a lot of images linked to sponsor
2. link codes with no popups / template with 3 recips and a lot of images linked to sponsor
3. link codes with no popups / template with no recips and very few links to sponsor
4. link codes with popups / template with 1 recip and very few links to sponsor
5. link codes with no popups / template with 1 recip and very few links to sponsor
6. link codes with popups / template with 3 recips and very few links to sponsor
7. link codes with no popups / template with 3 recips and very few links to sponsor
8. link codes with no popups / template with 1 button recip and very few links to sponsor
9. link codes with popups / template with 3 button recips and very few links to sponsor
10. link codes with no popups / template with 3 button recips and very few links to sponsor
11. link codes with popups / softcore template
to sponsor
12. link codes with no popups / softcore template
13. link codes with popups / template with 4 movies
to sponsor
14. link codes with no popups / template with 4 movies
15. link codes with popups / template with 5 movies
to sponsor
16. link codes with no popups / template with 5 movies

Yes this takes a lot of time to setup a database with this kind of customization, but it pays off big time, therefor your submitting only 3 movies to sites that will list 3, and 5 movies to sites that require 5 movies, this will cut down on your bandwidth charges.

And the sites that allow sponsor popups get them, and the sites that don't don't get them, therfor maximizing your income on the PPS.

Also submitting galleries with more links to smaller sites that allow it, and less links to the bigger sites that don't want a lot of links to sponsors... this will maximize your traffic output to sponsors.

this is just one of the innovative functions we have implemented at dreamsubmitter.

please enjoy!

I also find the support at Dream Submitter to be top fucking notch.

That's why I originally changed from Advanced Submitter. I had to reinstall Advanced Submitter after a crash one day, and I couldn't get ahold of the AS guys to get my serial number for the insallation. Now, in fairness, I had had crashes before and they were always able to help me quickly, there was just nobody around at this particular time.

I ended up switching, and never looked back. I wouldn't go back to AS now, I'm a dream submitter fan. Many of the features and options you see being added have been requested by myself or other submitters. They're very receptive to feedback and really work hard to go the extra mile to satisfy customers.

Nifield - I gave a shot to DS in January/Feb don't recall and the interface was a real nightmare (no phun inttended), how is the current versions interface.

I mean the one I tried besides a nasty db had lots of text-boxes without any text-tags, leaving me clueless and spending more time reading the help and watching vids that doing the gallerys themselfs...

1.9 is a lot cleaner, it has mouse over popup help on pretty much every function, and I offer one on one walkthroughs using headsets, icq, or even phone, so that users can have a 100% clear understanding of how the program works and what you can do with it.

i wont say its EASY to learn, because it is quite complex with all the functionality it has, but we do offer the support that backs up users that need the extra help in learning the software.

Also we have some great easy to follow new help files and videos that help a ton as well.

And for anyone that has tried DS in the past, we are offering a 1 month free trial to retry our software. Just hit me up in icq 9635421 or email me at reilly at dreamsubmitter.com to take advantage of this!

WarChild 07-07-2005 03:03 PM

Yeah the 1 on 1 walk through leaves you feeling like you really have a handle on the functionality afterwards. You'll get first class support until you're satisfied.

dayum, now that is customer service :thumbsup

i'd love to support a local company also, so at the end of this month i wont renew chameleon and i'll switch over to you guys :)

DamageX 07-07-2005 05:10 PM

Nilfield, a couple of questions:

1. Can I use this on several machines? I'm on the road a lot, home in one country, office in another and inbetween I use my laptop. Being able to use it on several machines would be a great advantage to me.

2. How well updated is the default db and how long does it take to add/remove sites I want?

Nilfield, any chance I could have my questions above answered? Or are only Vancouver-based potential customers entitled to any? :)

Hi there, yes you can use the software on multiple machines, but you cannot be logged in from 2 machines at once. So when you went on the road, you would just need to make sure DS was closed at your home and office.

The default database (the one that comes with the trial) is updated about once a month. We also offer large databases to users that have been with us 3 months, or buy a 3 month membership in advance. These databases are also updated about once a month. And for someone that wants 4000+ sites in a database thats updated all the time, hjnet from gfy will be providing this for a one time fee.

As for adding and removing sites that you want, you can add or delete any sites you wish locally to customize your database to your liking, and these changes can be locked so that when updating from another database, they wont be overwritten. (this is recommended for high traffic output and efficiency)

I hope this helps!
