Medie Coverage of the London Incident?

Just got courios. Shit like this are normally posted 100 times at this board but today I only see a few london posts..

In denmark the tv stations haven't sent anything but london news all day, how about in the US and other countries are it the same there??

It's a god damn tragic incident btw. taken in cosideration that they were in such a positive stream given the olypics 2012 and all that..... Now all London is mentioned fore in a long time to go is this tragic story...

We are all too busy drinking tea to worry about terrorists.

BBC and CNN have been covering it all day

BBC had to put up a light version of their website probably because so many people were trying to access it.

Barefootsies 07-07-2005 12:34 PM

It's been on the BBC (America) all day. I haven't checked out the other news channels. They are prolly still covering Holloway. :disgust

BBC1 is covering it pretty much wall to wall - except when they stopped to show Eastenders. You can NEVER cancel Eastenders.

Sarah_Jayne 07-07-2005 02:14 PM

apparently CNN in the States just started taking the ITN news feed

Sheri Santiago 07-07-2005 02:17 PM

It's been on Fox News all day, in between their commercial breaks, of course.

Linkster 07-07-2005 02:18 PM

The news channels have been constant coverage (MSNBC, FOX, CNN) with brand new music for the coverage and great new graphics - and their specialist/consultant budgets are strained to their limits today - damn experts that can talk forever and still dont know any facts yet - but at least once an hour they talk about some little storm headed our way - guess nothing else today is newsworthy (not minimizing London, but there has got to be something else going on on this globe somewhere)

Well Linkster...when 9/11 happened it was worthy of all day coverage..give my people the same respect

Johny Traffic 07-07-2005 02:27 PM

Ive been watching Sky news all day. To be honest all they seem to do is play the same clips over and over again

There are some huge threads on the other, UK based board...

Sarah - thats why I said not minimizing it - and I think it was just as stupid to cover 9/11 all day and night as well so no disrespect intended - the news orgs just cant figure out how to do more than one thing at a time yet
