Has Anyone Been Playing Battlefield 2??
 

I picked it up this week and I haven't been exactly overwhelmed by the game. I don't think if it's even as good as Battlefield Vietnam...

You need a monster processor and video card to even get the game to run half decently.

So anyone else here picked up this game yet?

i got the demo installed.. it's not bad at all, but i got 3.2ghz, a gig of ram & 256mb raideon so it should be running optimally.

Yeah, I play it on my Grand Wega III 42" LCD screen at 1280x720, 2x AA 8x AF... looks great!

Oh hell yeah, I dominate in the planes and Helis. I love the game actually. Its not as fun as spawn raping in vietname with a chopper, but they added some really cool awards and ranking system to make the game really fun. And you get points for helping out now too, which is awesome. Finally being a commander is pretty sweet too!

Overall, the flight is 100 times better, and much more fun. The planes have incredible accuracy with the bombs, and targeting is so much better in them.

Overall, they took the combination of Joint Ops and Battlefield and made it alot more fun for people not wanting to just spawn rape (Though I used to love that!).

I like BFV so much i have been reluctant to try BF2 even though I have it as well as a machine that can run it.

i need to get a better vid card to play this game, but i'm waiting for the 6800 to drop in price

Too demanding on machine specs to be worth the time at this point, but I envy those with monster machines and lots of time.

I've been playing it a little bit. I have to run everything on low though since I haven't updated my gaming pc in over 2 years. It is fun I think, I can't fly the planes and heli's worth shit so usually I let someone else do that and I just shoot shit up.

i need a complete overhaul of my system just to play that game :(
