New guy with a question.

Sup everyone, I'm the new guy here. Wanted to introduce myself. I'm a graphic designer, and b4 all this 2257 crap, I could go sign up with a sponsor, download some content, make some galleries to add to the portfolio of works.

But now I guess you cant do that. How would you guys(and gals) start up a portfolio? I'm have mainstream experience, but I'm basically starting from scratch.

Maybe trade content for design? But who would trust a n00b?

You can still do that, just that hardcore will need records kept, you can also just buy some, content for galleries is inexpensive

Ok so the content downloadable from sponsors is ok? Just want to make sure cause I don't feel like going to jail.

Any recommendations for some cheap content I can buy?
