What do affiliates thing? would you shy away from a program because it uses paycom???
Just curious... my paysite is with paycom, due to the fact that i'm in canada and even though i incorporated in the US i wouldn't be able to get ccbill as they require the principle to live in the US etc.... but with paycom you can just use your canadian passport etc...
would most affiliates not promote a program because its on paycom, or does it really not matter? thanks for the feedback :thumbsup edit: i meant what do affiliates THINK in the title.... |
I think affiliates like Paycom or CCBill. If you were using Ibill I think their would be a problem!

I'd actually go with a site that use paycome over ccbill ... but that's just my :2cents
(Nothing wrong with ccbill ... I just like paycom a lot) |
paycom's stats aren't as good as ccbill's, but their checks come every week - no problems with paycom for me.
|
I don't have a problem with them. Why should anyone?

We offer both (CCBill & Paycom)
Both are very good. We let each affiliate choose inside their admin which biller they want for their primary. and some prefer one over the other, good too offer both :2 cents: |
yah i wish i could offer both, but i'm in canada.. so i'm lucky enough to have paycom.... i used an incorporation company to form a company for me in delaware.. but ccbill requires the principle owner (me) to live in the states... so its a no go with them

paycom has been screwy lately. No sales for 5 days and boom 16 sales today go figure......
|
It would not bother me. :thumbsup

Programs that use Paycom as a processer invisibly to me (maintaining their own stats and sending me their own checks) are fine. But I won't join any affiliate program that expects me to rely on the worthless PayCom affiliate stats. And I'm not happy receiving PayCom checks because they make it very hard to tell what program the checks are in relation to. They also won't correct billing addresses (they keep telling me to have the program owner do that) and I've got a couple programs where the program owner won't answer emails, won't update my billing address, and I'm going to lose the rebills soon when my one-year USPS mail forwarding order runs out.
Let me repeat it: Paycom affiliate stats are worthless and pathetic. For that reason, and that reason alone, I will no longer join a program that provides nothing but Paycom stats. It's a huge problem. Paycom provides zero referral information and zero click counting. Without ratios and referring URLs, there's no way to guage the effectiveness of a link campaign. Waste of my traffic. What I don't understand is why a company that can get some things so right can't be bothered to update its worthless stats reporting. |

My guess is that programs that recieve most of the hard earned traffic and generate the most sales offer cascade billing and other bells and whistles which wouldn't be possible using 3rd party affliliate software. |
We'll be pushing your sites regardless of what you're using as a processor. :thumbsup
Although in our experience ccbill tends to scrub a little harder than Paycom. |
we use paycom as the processor, but NATS as the frontend, and our affiliates love it.
No cheating - never down.. an unlike CCbill, there isent any cracy sales fluctuations |
Good post sos.
Several people have told me over ICQ in identical discussions lately that they're following ebus dk's route: NATS up front, Paycom behind the scenes. Best of both worlds. |

The raw PayCom stats (and there are still many programs that offer nothing else) are crap. |
