Pictures of water (pics)
I took these today.... I've always just pointed and clicked when shooting water. But today I decided to see how slow I could get my shutter without getting blurry rocks.
I must say, the water looks much better blurred. http://www.9xs.net/golf/001.jpg http://www.9xs.net/golf/002.jpg I know, pretty boring pics... but I'm still learning with my XT, and I like to share when ever I get something that looks like it might be close to being right :upsidedow |
Gives the scene a dose of reality :)
I like the motion. |
Stuart thanks for coming over to my backyard and taking pics :thumbsup
|

Shutter: 1/30 Aperture: 29.0 ISO: 200 Picture #2 Shutter: 1/25 Aperture: 22.0 ISO: 200 Still required a somewhat steady hand. A few of the shots at those speeds were blurred. But I got lucky on a few :) |

Never thought I'd say this but....... very nice pictures of moving water man!!
|
try it with a tripod next time Stuart. Those pics are great as is, but with your XT, you should mount it on a tripod and use the remote. You'll get killer results.
Same holds tru for shooting night shots... ;) J. |
