US Dollar Business VISA/MC in Canada?

Anybody know if a small business (incorporated in Canada) can get a US Dollar VISA or Mastercard in Canada? I have looked far and wide and it seems only available to huge companies...

Royal, TD and Scotia offer US dollar Visa's, the fees are a bit higher, but they're pretty easy to get...

I only know of Royal Bank and TD Visa offering USD Visa's, I never looked into MasterCards. RBC has a better rewards and insurance package over TD's but its going to cost you $65/year. TD's I think is only $25/year.

Is an adult or mainstream business?

I personally recommend you incorporate some entity in the US to handle the merchant services.

I quoted a Canadian merchant on an American USD account and it saved them $50k+ over the duration of their account contract. They were working with Moneris CA. The difference being that Moneris gave them a bundled rate (a larger flat %, instead of breaking it down by smalelr % + transaction fee).

If you want to talk a little further, email me and we'll go from there.

I had to get a personal one as CIBC doesn't have a US Dollar Visa for business, only CND$.

These are both personal cards. I'm looking for a business visa/mastercard denominated in US dollars. I don't want a personal card as I don't want expenses in my personal name. Unfortunatley the only solutions I've seen are poor-term secured offshore cards in foreign countries or convert to CDN dollar and then to US again when you pay. The annual commision loss is huge for me, over $10,000, but no solution so far...

The Royal USD one is offered under corporate cards as well, I have one in my company name and one in my personal name. It has a minimum of $5k USD and awesome rewards.
