Even if they are cheap ... often you need 10 of them to get a real one , so its more expensive.

I didn't ask for no quotes on the project . I asked for a fulltime programmer ... I'l need him for a couple months .

Bluewire has it's software development offices based outside of USA. Programming is something that is VERY hard to hire out. I generally go through about 100 apps for ever one programmer that I even interview. And then out of those I probably hire 1 in 20....so thats 1 in 2000. I have in house programmers here . The project isn't really that hard ... I'l put it down for the programmer nice and easy ...

We've had a lot of quotes from people here too ranging from 7k $ to 45k $ for the same project ... so I'm trying to see what's possible with the outsourcing firms ;)

some are home based some are in office

It all depends on the project or the clients needs
