What's in London that Paris doesn't have anyway?

Bansheelinks 07-06-2005 05:46 AM

boy that chirac sure has a big mouth............wonder how he feels right now? did his fleshy mouth lose France votes?

Bansheelinks 07-06-2005 05:48 AM

Chirac mocks Britain for mad cow, bad food
04/07/2005 11:53

"The only thing they (the English) have ever done for European agriculture is mad cow," Chirac quipped, according to the paper, prompting laughter from Schroeder and Putin.

EviLGuY 07-06-2005 06:33 AM

They really decide these things pretty far in advance.. I guess they need the time for all the new venues to be built. :)

CDSmith 07-06-2005 06:37 AM

I guess that wiped the shit-eating grin off Chirac's face.

:D

Manowar 07-06-2005 06:38 AM

EviLGuY 07-06-2005 06:38 AM

Where are the 2008 Olympics?

justsexxx 07-06-2005 06:39 AM

Funny how everyone is against France. Not that I care who got the olympics. But why is everyone against France?

EviLGuY 07-06-2005 06:44 AM

People just hate the french.. it's nothing new.

London is so massivily bigger than Paris. Paris is a tiny capital city. The great thing about the Olympics is that we have shoved the Olympics in the dump end of London and are going to use the money to revitalise the area.

11.5M in Paris & 8.3M in London?

The fact that London is much more bigger in territory just means that the density of population is much lower.

Tho I doubt the choice has anything to do with the sizes. Moscow is 2M ahead of Paris in population and x10 bigger in size. And what?

It's all about strikes in Paris & terrorism in Moscow. IMHO

They are rebuilding massive parts of Londons East End. Creating rail links going from the east end into central London. This has been needed for years.

Personally I cant wait to watch all the tourists getting robbed at Stratford station.

They are doing to that side of the docklands what they did to my side when we had the Dome put in. They are extending various transport links out to that area that are majorly needed, they are rebuilding a lot of the crappier areas, installing a ton of public resources and the atheletic facilities will become public usage..so public swimming pools, etc.

It is going to be great for that area!

Vitasoy 07-06-2005 04:54 PM

Paris was the favourite, but congrats to London

nick1980 07-06-2005 05:04 PM
