The special effect are awesome. Story line is weak, and of course Tom Cruise gets the only car that works :1orglaugh

Stupid movie that totally destroyed the entire concept of the book [about how meaningless and unimportant individual lives are].

I saw the movie over the weekend. I thought the story didn't make sense at all. And they needed a hero like The Rock or Vin Diesel to make the movie sizzle, Tom Cruise as a action star in this movie was really weak.

i'm hearing bad reviews bout it.. but i haven't seen it myself so i'll go check it out first.

It was alright. I thought it'd be better. The ending was weak.

To have an epic storyline of that nature, and NOT have the protagonist suffer some kind of personal loss (i.e. the son dying would have been acceptable) is absolutely insulting.

Fuck War of the Worlds. I thought it was substandard given the people involved. I thought Batman Begins was a far better movie.

I expected it to be a great film with Spielberg directing it, but that was his worst film ever. Totally walked out wanting a refund of my money and time.

One of the things i have heard about the movie is that CRUISE are not supposed to be an action star.

Though i have not seen it yet

because of that, i don't wanna see that movie. :(
