SCAMMER Alert! Guy using stolen credit card info to buy spots
Attention everyone, we just found out today that this guy purchased spots using a stolen credit card!
Name: Dennis Heidner (not his real name) Email: [email protected] We got a phone call from the REAL Dennis Heidner today who is from the US and had no idea what the charge was, he confirmed the address on the form was correct, but not his phone number and of course not the email address. After reading the correspondence he had with our salesperson it is obvious that English is the guys second language, and the real Dennis is clearly American. This fraudulent scammer is promoting galleries like: www.maonhotelshop.com/adelina/gal01/galler.htm His hosting is with Ipowerweb, I'm sending them an email to inform them as well. The whois results show his address ad "Maonhotel" which is a hotel in Brighton, name "Daniel Lander" Please take heed if this customer has contacted you do NOT sell to him, and if you have sold to him already PULL his ads right away!! Thanks! |
the hotmail email address should have been your first clue
|
have you contacted his sponsors as well?
go for the throat! |
Thanks for the heads up!!!

I wonder why someone with a stolen CC would buy 30 day spots. Surely you were going to catch on before the 30 days were up. I would have thought a scammer would have tried to buy something that can be delivered asap rather than over 30 days. Ah well, scammers never learn...

which makes me suspicious of the program....& i'm guessing this isn't the first time he's done this, so he probably has a pre-existing relationship with the parties paying him nevertheless.....follow the $ trail, & if you need a hand interrogating anyone lemme know :pimp |

RGCash is unknown to me, never seen a promotion posting by them on any board. Why anybody thinks he can actually get away with it and cash out before someone finds out is beyond my horizon. |

|

Scammers like this really give good business men/women a bad name, what are we supposed to do never sell to someone with a hotmail account? |
Saying that the "hotmail" account was a tip off is just ignorant. Many people run their entire adult business off of hotmail emails for easy remote login, give me a break.
Sorry to hear about it GTS, what a pain in the ass. Now let me take-over his spots and I'll make it all better. :winkwink: |

|
It gets better...
"Hello Sarah, if your company want don't lose money on Credit Card Fraud then you can buy at me info with help which you will know about legal transaction with client. P.S. : please sorry me for fraud." this is from the hotmail account he used, |
This guy is such an idiot, he actually emailed us not only admitting he committed the credit card fraud, but then he tries to sell us information to protect ourselves from credit card fraud.

Right click on the mail - properties - details - source code and look for "Received: from" with IP adress and hostname in the header. If you're lucky he wasn't using a proxy. |

Not necessarily. I use one as my primary email. I pay for it so I have a bigger mailbox. |

Personally, yes. |

that's some exceptionally shitty english for a dutch guy. i wouldn't be surprised if it was through a proxy or spoofed ip.
|
Actually we've narrowed it down further to Russia, he is using "Cityline" a company in Russia that offers dial up internet connection to Moscow and St. Peterburg.......double we'll get anything better from that....but if anyone wants to try here is the IP
