Blogs - The New Breed of TGP
 

For a while now me and a few buddies have discussed the state of the TGP market being sewn up and where can webmasters go to post their Galleries

On 19-jan-2005 I bought the domain http://mypornfeed.com to address this and give webmasters an alternative to tgp's.

Blogs:

1. Are Nicer to look at than most TGP's... instead of being inundated by thumbs and links the surfer is focused and filtered to what's important
2. They promote the Building of Relations and Raport with the surfer through enabling the Author/Poster to imprint their personality into their posts
3. Great for SEO... good keyword specific quality textual content on every post... mouse over individual post titles and you will also see quality URL's that SE's love as they encompass the Theme Pyramid method of site structure... this is possible using Permalinks (a blog technology)
4. Increased repeat traffic... not just through quality but through RSS
5. Better Quality Traffic... tgp's lend themselves to blind links and circle jerks... click click click click... Quality Blogs work on the principal that less is more and traffic to them comes from reciprocal links of similar content and toplists

I started blogging in 2001 and have always proclaimed the benefits for SE's... as time has gone by the benefits of them have increased and I've found new ways/spins to use the technology

If anyone wants to submit their galleries (hosted or not) feel free to join MyPornFeed (just follow the webmasters link either on the right or at the bottom)

Every post gets a thumbnail automatically resized with a link to their gallery and if you fill out your profile you can also put your main website link in... so in essence you get 2 links to your sites for every post

You don't have to give a reciprocal link but if you do I've incorporated a referer list into it... you don't have to do anything apart from send it traffic and you will appear on the list... that would be a third link to you and a hard link at that

The site is also more geared towards RSS feeds so it will get a lot of repeat traffic... I've only just got it set up due to commitments to my Viral Marketing website

Im hearing more and more about these Blogs , is there any serious money in blogs ? Any blog owner out there making 50K+ a month from his blogs ?
maybe those questions are stupid , but I really dont know much about blogs!
TGP will not die anytime soon, but its always good to explore new sources of traffic

You are right, blogs are amazing. They were 10 times so before every idiot started running his / her mouth about them and nubs slapped TGPs on em. Webmasters are like parasites.

Basic_man... yep... traffic has been growing day on day... the blog is a week old... it's listed in all the SE's already and targetted hits are coming in... it's still early days though

If you link to me you will automatically appear on "My Buddies" list when you send some traffic... that list is also a Toplist so the more traffic you send the higher up you'll appear

PressPhoto (with a little editing)... there are plenty of other picture upload plugins you can use... I'd suggest you try a few there might be one more suitable for your needs

cheifmonkey i have seen a lot of these adult blogs and a lot of them are just some BS text linking to a hosted gallery. Why would a surfer revisit a site like that over a tgp? I assume those blogs don't get a lot of repeat traffic

You're totally right mate... there are a lot of absolutely shit blogs where the webmaster is simply spamming his own site... I can't see why anyone would want to revisit these sites either

But... just because you have a blog doesn't automatically mean to say it's going to be of poor quality... it's up to the webmaster what he does with it

I only accept quality posts

I am also focussing on RSS feeds... so if you know about them you know that there will be a lot of repeat traffic

I have a quick question for you...

from what I know, blog is a slang for "web log". and these blogs are originally meant to be online diaries. when blogs first started out, mostly those who took advatage of it are gurlies telling tales about their lovelife,school and some shit. so they're like story-telling pertaining to certain things.

and then some genius discovered the potential of blogs in the internet porn. using pics and some story-telling skills, it really works after all.

Y'see, there are still alot of people curious to surf these kind of sites. They long for different tales...unique, funny, morbid or out-of-this-world. Sometimes you may never know that you're already reading someone else's day-to-day updates...and you may never know that what you're reading is already a blog.
