once you stop moving around.. you get cold fast. There were still frozen alpine lakes up there.

cool mountaineers.

from basecamp 3 hours 23 minutes (I am slow as fuck).. the guys got there in 2 hours 45 minutes.. it was 2 miles and about 2500 ft elevation gain from the lake..

it was coming down and packing back out another 8 grueling miles that I could have done without.

Maybe I can talk you guys into an overnighter at upper Lena Lake in the Olympics before the end of summer. I promise not to bite :winkwink:

Im envious.. have fun and be careful and bring back pics.. the Pyrenees are beautiful.
