Today's TOUGH TRIVIA question

Today's tough trivia question:

A recent Harris poll states that 55.6% of N. American consumers throw THESE in the trash instead of recycling them. They add more than forty million pounds of unnecessary waste to our nation's landfills and take more than 1,000 years to decompose.

What are they?

*Correct answer is based on results from various sources. Sources will not be revealed. I make no claims on the accuracy of the answer, but the answer announced as the winner is final.

*Try not to "google" your answer, just have fun guessing and using your brain power. No one is going to think you're a hero because you found my question source or "compromised the contest"... it's free traffic, why would you want to compromise free traffic?

*If you've won the tough trivia before pls wait 1 month before trying again.

Idiotic contest. Nobody would guess that it's about printer cartridges unless they either accidentally read it before or googled it.

Yup, apparently a lot of people just toss them out.

Maybe they need to put it on the packaging in bolder print:

THIS ITEM IS RECYCLABLE

No, but it was ignored.

People who can't read instructions don't win prizes in my contests.

The tough trivia is about FUN, not attitude. :1orglaugh

Start? I made a few of them tougher last week. Some complained that it was too tough and needed hints.

Every day is different. Some will be tougher, some will be easier. It's not always easy to know ahead of time which ones will be more of a challenge or less.
