The Hun - question
 

I'm not a gallery maker by any means - this is probably only the 5th gallery I've ever made, actually. I found some sponsor content that I thought was good and pretty much jokingly submitted to The Hun. Now I got accepted and need to know a couple things.

1. I got accepted to The Hun's overflow, how much traffic should I be expecting?

2. What are the chances that the signups will cover my bandwidth bill (I only have a small virtual hosting plan)?

3. Should I be crying right about now?

the overflow isnt pushing that much traffic, so the bandwidth used depands hardly of your gallery...

i hope you have a couple extra gig to burn on your virtual or your overage isnt too pricy...

your fucked............expect 5 million hits and server to crash

yup I burned 90 gigs a day in the overflow last time.. :winkwink:

I didn't say it was shitty. I meant that I was just using some sponsor content that I found and liked... I was shocked that I got accepted because The Hun is pretty picky and I don't know the ins and outs of gallery making since I rarely do it. Obviously it was good enough to get picked up.

It might make you a bunch of money, look on the bright side :)

Yeah, getting listed on the hun is a gamble, but I wouldn't worry about it until you see the results.

overflow is pretty weak compared to the real thing. odnt expect too much

well you should wait and see how this converts... thehun is a good site and if the sponsor and the gallery are good you will make some cash... :)

The good thing about Huns overflow is that it will stay around longer. Expect a huge burn on bandwidth though!

I've had two different galleries listed on the hun overflow this month..
Only burn through 10gb of bandwidth with them a day... lasting for 3 days before petering off...

the hun isn't great for conversions though, cause his traffic is exposed to so much free porn...

It's been my experience that not too many paying customers make it to the overflow section of TheHun
