How hard is it to get 1M hits to your galleries daily?

I'd like to know how much of that is from archive traffic - if you've been posting galleries for a few years I can see how that would add up.

1M hits to a MGP gallery must burn BW pretty fast, my ROI with MGP galleries is always smaller than with TGP galleries, they convert about the same and I end up paying a much bigger BW bill.

At 500,000 uniques (not hits) per day, I burn around 70Mbps or so with movie galleries. Call it 700GB per day to be safe, though it varies a bit.

What kind of movie galleries do you make? With small or big movies?

I have a 100mbit server and a smaller 20mbit cogent server

Do you use proxy to submit your galleries?

I have submitted 1 gallery a day for years... Now I submit maybe 3-5 times a week and I maintain around the 200k mark on average... 500-1mil a day depending on the traffic sources. All of the traffic is free as well. It comes from building up a strong relationship with TGP owners and offering the owners some sort of incentive for listing you such as traffic trades, submission accounts or great galleries.

It can be done, but it's much harder in today's TGP/MGP game.

I don't think LOTS OF WEBMASTERS gets 1M to their galleries each day.

We get around 4 million hits, (not uniques) but thats from all our affiliates plus me posting every day.

Now it would be interesting to know what submission tool Nyls, Mako or shermshack use, to end the old manual or autosubmission discussion :)

not really. my jizzhutt partner account sends that much.

Create 15 gallries, submit them, and after a month delete them. 404 redirect all your traffic to one gallery and voilá ;)

I have been trying to do that for sometime. I have always been a manuel submitter. I also do not submit to too many tgps. It is impressive to get that much a day to one gallery.

That's how many they send cumatively. Unless you plan for every gallery they list to be yours, you're not going to get anywhere near the much. :)

Make a TGP, 50 galleries, 20K visitors per day, and if they click on all your galleries... you have 1 mill. :)

why? its simple math....

ok, people don't click all galleries, but if you have 5-6 TGPs with decent traffic, and your own galleries only, its a lot more worth than paying for partner accounts.
