Look up the definition of TGP. Hilarious disclaimer there to webmasters trying to add their sites' urls. :1orglaugh :thumbsup

True. However for mainstream, WEBMASTERs can definitely use mass LABOR to create readable, useful, unique pages :thumbsup

A couple of months back when I was doing wiki research/architecture work for a client, I looked through the TGP page as part of the research. They said somewhere along the lines "Please don't put any more additional TGP site example links"... Something like that. It was good for a chuckle. :1orglaugh

juve20 07-04-2005 04:38 PM

They remove spam links more fast than you can post them :)

If you try to edit the page, you'll see this comment:

hahahahaExternal linkshahahaha
<!-- Please, don't add any more TGPs here without discussing this on Talk page first. We are aware that there are many TGP sites, but we probably don't need more than we already have to illustrate the article. -->

Wikipedia is just waiting to explode. Don't be surprised if a big company buys it for an insane price down the road.

Gottis 07-04-2005 05:44 PM

I wanted to do an adult version but then Webmaster labor dropped Adult.

It's definately dancing... PR 8 then 9 then 8 then 9 then 8... Why/how can it fluctuate so fast?

makefuckingmoney 07-04-2005 07:33 PM

how come some page ranks show higher or lower with or without the www?

I never understood that..

Because google sees them as two seperate pages. www.makefuckingmoney.com is a subdomain to http://makefuckingmoney.com

You should always use one or the other for linking, and/or rewrite to have it always use www.

Google sees the 2 versions of a site as different sites. Eventually, Google can map the two to being the same site but it does take quite some time.
