Does the amounf of post on GFY determine if you ar a player or not???

Can't someone with 74 post be a major traffic guy or gal?

It's a tool that people use when they have nothing else to attack with.

Is their name silly? Yes, make fun of them. No, find something else.
Did they make a typo? Yes, make fun of them. No, find something else.
Do they have a low post count? Yes, call them unimportant. No, find something else.

Sadly for many idiots it does matter.
Also for some odd reason people take you a bit more seriously if you have a large post count number.
Generally though it should not matter in the least. I know several people who are either not registered here or who are but never post. I know their traffic numbers, skill, or whatnot and in my eyes they are deffinatly players. They just either spend time elsewhere or are not that interested in talking publically.
On a side note it does matter when a new "drama" thread is created, lets say an ibill thread for instance. Then a few newly registered names suddenly post saying how they got paid or whatnot. Then of course the post count should be questioned.

JMan I'm sure you know many more people than I do, and I know many that run very good businesses that do not like to post on GFY or other boards at all. When someone makes a remark regarding post count, its because they have nothing better to use to try and discredit them.

I wont' point out names, the reason I made this thread is I just saw in a
thread a guy being called a nobody casue he's got 74 post. I thaught it was uncalled for and I sure hope they where right cause if he pulls his trafgfic from the sponsor due to this type of BS then the person that made the negative comment deserve to lose such an affiliate.

no not at all, cause you see some guy that joined in 1 month that does 2000 posts. and you see people like rage from bunnyteens i think he only has like 100 posts. so you cant really judge a person on that. some people cant just look at the board all day. they have other things to do.

some people post on other boards and dont pay attention to this one because they know its a shit hole. no offense.

there is so much more business to be done on other boards. i wont post the urls, but people who go on other boards know what i mean.

posts mean nothing, i think ive seen stupider comments by people with higher post counts then by most with low post counts.

I concur. Post counts mean little.

There are a number of well respected, and recognized people on here who have low post counts, or rarely post. Then you have some of the fresh fish who have high numbers.

It's nothing more than something simpleton's use when they lack intelligence, or creativity for a good one liner. I think some use those remarks you mentioned as just a cheap way to sig whore w/o being obvious with the woj version of "50" or "100".

I think the only time it might matter is if you come on the scene and you are recetly registered, and are promoting something a bit too good to be true. If you just registered, have 50 posts, and are talking about some new program, or affiliate, etc people might question you since you are basically an unknown.

Beyond that, I wouldn't sweat it.
