Bush says fuck the enviroment

Come up with the technology to clean up the enviroment, until then we'll keep spewing smoke into the air.

He even suggests "storing greenhouse gases underground" :eek7

He said the US could not afford to follow the Kyoto treaty.
That is true I they keep thinking in the same style thay have been the last 20 years, but that is the reason for the Kyoto treaty, to make countrys think in another way.
Like the Oil company Hydro, they have just ordered 100 Mega windmills. They cover the electricity supply for 175.000 British houses.. and that is just from 100 windmills....

Jakke PNG 07-04-2005 04:46 AM

Hey.. but following international environment treaties is bad for the economy...mmkay?

ukxtra 07-04-2005 06:03 AM

Why should Bush give a damn about our environment? when things start to get nasty here he can just fuck off back to his own planet :1orglaugh

Dirty Dane 07-04-2005 06:13 AM

This makes me wondering:
Why do Bush say his country can not afford Kyoto, when other nations can?

Actually storing greenhouse gases underground is an idea from the "left", read this article published in 2001 by the very "conservatives" University of California and their research center. article
Similar articles can easily be found that shows that many countries are also looking at ways to store greenhouses gases into spent oil and gas fields.

it's just great to send those Arabic countries billions of oil dollars every day again.
This is much better than to develop new technology which doesn't make our Islamic friends extremely wealthy and saves our planet besides.

Go Bush Go Bush Go Bush

Republicans seek less species protection

Jul. 4, 2005 at 11:03AM

A Republican-drafted congressional bill seeks to abolish the Endangered Species Act and limit the government's environmental obligations.
The legislation was prepared by the Republican staff of the House Resources Committee, and would sunset the ESA by 2015. It also would exempt many federal actions that are now subject to review, and require the authority to list subgroups of a species of fish or wildlife as endangered "only sparingly."
Jamie Rappaport Clark, the executive vice president of Defenders of Wildlife, told the New York Times the draft "takes a wrecking ball to the whole Endangered Species Act" by changing its mission, disabling enforcement tools and loosening controls on agencies like the Forest Service and the Army Corps of Engineers.
But Jim Sims of Partnership for the West, a group representing Western ranchers and industries, said the bill is more practical approach to conservation.
"It's more important to incrementally improve the species' health as much as we can rather than set the bar at total and complete recovery, and nothing else," he said.

It's the BEST solution for THIS country! :thumbsup

There are houses with solar systems that are feeding the grids for the power companies. Why not start building more houses that can do that. It is free electricity.
