that sucks. that is one of the reasons i don't like the sport. and for what did he die. to entertain some other people.

Boxing is the most physically brutal sport out there. Their faces and heads get fucked up for weeks and months.

He died doing what he loved.

Boxing is actually safer without gloves than we gloves

MMA (UFC, KOTC) is much safer than boxing, although it appears to be more brutal it's really not

Btw, those boxers know the possibility of dying while fighting. They love what they do.

Gloves are worn to protect the hands of the fighters and not the heads of the fighters. The blows to the head are just as hard with or without the gloves.

cuz without gloves you woulnt punch someone in the head or you would break your hand, wrist, knuckles. Just the face would get bloodied, and no brain injuries.

That's because in UFC whenever a fighter gets hit repeatedly to the head without fighting back, the fight is over...

In boxing they get hits countless times to the head and if they get knocked out they still got 10 seconds to get up and get more poundings on the head, and repeat...

I nursed Micheal Watson for months while he recovered from a serious HI after a fight with Eubanks. I cant/wont go into detail, but lets say it wasnt pretty.

You might not say those things if you had seen the state of his family and friends.

Every op he had was a nightmare for them - he could have died at any minute. I cant imagine why anyone would put others through that. :2 cents:

I didnt even know about this until just now...... Thats amazing, at one point the guy was a close to death as you can be.

The diffusion of energy works both ways.

Mainly cause there is no standing 10 count, the ref stops the fight when you can't defind yourself, very quick I might add
