Man I hate laptops....
 

Up in Erie PA for the 4th holiday. Using my friends laptop sucks ass. :( Anyone really like these over conventional PCs? I mean, they are convenient but just...I dunno...uncomfy. :(

I hate laptop keyboards.. I can't type for shit on them.

I use my laptop more than anything. I have a PowerBook G4. Nice nice computer.

Right now I'm typing on it from the comfort of the throne room. I love wireless access and portable computers: even at times like these I can be productive. No more dragging the newpaper into the bathroom.

I use my laptop much more than my desktop, and I truly love it. Just takes some getting used to.

If you have ever had any formal typing training they are an absolute pain in the ass to use - especially if it's got one of those spiggots, that takes the place of the mouse, right in the middle of the keys.

I love my laptop....Hated Erie, PA. was there about 6 years or so ago

Do they still make laptops with those things? Haven't seen one in a looong time (and yes, I agree they were annoying).

My laptop is my main computer now and has been for over a year. I love it! I don't have to move stuff around when I leave the house and I can work outside :)

I pretty much use a laptop for everything. I prefer the keyboard over a regular keyboard and it's nice having wireless around the office and house. :2 cents:

One day I too will have a Mac. :(

laptops are great once you get used to them, now a days I do most of my work from a laptop...

I use my G4 Powerbook with wireless mouse, I can't stand trackpads, but the keyboard on the G4 isn't as bad as some other Desktops I've used.

Try pluging a mouse in, it will relieve a lot of the frustration.

I guess that just shows how old my laptop is - I keep telling the boss it's time I got an upgrade - but I only use it for word processing these days and even though I've poured a glass of port into the keyboard it still works fine - except for that damn spiggot. :)

Hate working on laptops, ill haul my desktop with me and use that anytime

I'm digging it up here. We're thinking about buying a house. Nice fresh air, great prices, relaxing landscape, clean lake...

...I think we may just do it. :) Not quite Erie...it's like 30 miles south...little town Meadville.

Not having a number pad is a pain.

I love laptops, I work from them most of the time.

It's not that bad, but you have to get used to it. Yes.

I respect your taste but laptop is very important for me..

Can't work for more than an hour on a laptop. I'd still prefer my desktop pc.

laptops rulez!!!

the laptop keyboard seems weird at the beginning, but when you get used to it, you'll understand that actually the PC keyboard is weird and uncomfy.

I've one but I'm never using it :(
