Florida has been insane lately. In the last week I've seen so many speedtraps it's freaking me out.

Down in Florida a new law just went into effect that if a cop can hear your car stereo from over 25 ft away you can get pulled over for disturbing the peace.

It used to be 100 ft to do that. The ticket is something like $170 bucks.

i just back from seeing the Brewers vs Pirates baseball game and there were a shit load of cops that had cars pulled over. they're working overtime this weekend, be careful!

Cops are always out in full force over this holiday weekend. Lot's of people getting DUI's.

They are doing the job they were hired to do. Wanna bitch about it? Don't drink and drive or break any other laws. Or write your Congress Person and get the laws changed.

Yep, they will be setting up spot checks all weekend. They're even hiding in certain areas too, with all lights off. :/

Are they really getting paid to cause a 2 hour traffic jam getting into the Holland Tunnel, harrassing each & every law obiding citizen, off for a holiday with their kids, and leagally diriving through a main throughfare? I think not.

I am all for no drinking & driving, that's why I take cabs, but I personally think that random sobriety roadblocks are as lame as 2257.
