Does anyone know what the syntax is -- ?

Is it just your GFY username, or does this have to be set-up in some way -- ?

from a logical point of view, that's not an answer to the question "why" would one use a ref. link = in other words what are the advantages and prizes you get when you refer people to GFY with your special nickname :)

Good question... Are there any advantages/prizes you get to refer people?
