definately not the best movie of all time but it's a classic

Great and funny. But best? I'm not sure I'd put it in the best category.

Judge Smales is one the best characters ever created along with Ty Webb.

The movie is so damn funny I have seen it over 167 times
and everytime I see it, I hear a new pearl in the dialogue that I wasn't hip to.

Or maybe now that I am country club age and have belonged to a club like caddyshack- I get it more

yup, i just popped it in the dvd to watch with lunch.....its a great compliment to any meal....like a fine wine it gets better with age

I wasn't born till the 80's either, but its no excuse for not seeing one of the funniest movies of all time.

I'll put it in the best comedy movie of all time category anytime.
