If you're married in your 30's do you still go out to bars?
To all you attached people that are over 30, do you still enjoy hitting the bars?
Nope but hen again I dont drink so.... Married and no drink.. = bars are Booooring
Well, not much, but we'd like to do it more often than we do.
They are usually tied down with kids and a mortgage..
I very rarely go out to bars when I'm in NY ... every once and awhile with Juicy and the guys from the office if it is an occasion .... but i do enjoy going out at the conventions ... I drink hangout with friends ..it's cool ... but when I'm home i would just rather be with my wife and kids ....... and just for the record .. I'm with my wife 12 years and married 8 ... i just turned 30 in march ..

I dont drink, and I didnt like going to bars when I was single. Being around drunk people is no fun and it generaly pisses me off. Being in loud, smoke filled bars pisses me off to. I pretty much just hate being around people, I find most of them to be real fucking idiots.

we have an open marriage and my wife has discovered her bi side so we hit bars a little more frequently now ;-)
but generally, between babysitters, annoying drunken assholes, etc. it's just not that fun anymore (the bar scene that is)... |
My girl and I go out all the time. Quite funny really that she and I love to go to the zoo more than bars!
Im 36 married and hit the bars at least twice a week :)

43 and still go to the bars about once a week...together. And we also go biking, travelling, dining, to live theater, and much more at least 3 times a week. In fact, we just walked in from the neighborhood pub..and we're both stone sober. For us, it's not about drinking. We just happen to enjoy each other's company.
I prefer to hang out in sports lounges and the like with my friends, I'm too old for the bar (36) and I feel like a real douche when my younger usually industry friends drag me too them. Even before I got too old, I haven't liked bars since I got married, what's the point in going if you can't pick up girls? That's all bars are for, if I'm just looking for a place to drink I'd rather be in a place with a TV playing a game and where we can actually have a conversation without yelling.

Well im in my 20's, but my husband is in his 30's and we still enjoy going out for a drink. Ok we dont go to clubs, more sports bars etc but its still fun!
When I was 30, and when I was married, I used to go to a bar all the time . . . .but just one.
okay. . . . maybe 3, but one more often than the others.
I just got back from a bar for the first time in 2 years...I will never go to a bar again. My bar is at my house...sorry.
Only quieter places where you can still have a conversation, as far as clubs go prefer not too, used to work in em years back every night so over that (was fun then though). Having friends over for a drink or 20 is more fun now (shit I am getting old).
