Looking for someone that is really good with servers and can recover data from a filesystem... please any help would be greatly appreciated.

fsck is your friend, boot another drive, then mount the other drive partition. fsck it grab what ya can... Final step, learn to backup your crucial data

i forget to mention that you should mount it in read only mode, the write mode can cause problems of not being able to mount drive

Yeah, thanks for the reply, but doesn't help at the moment :-\ I know theirs a guy that has bear or something in his alias, but can't seem to find him.
