1 day away from Live8 being dropped on Philly.... The city is already shutting down most of the area to get around in Center City.

This is going to be a fucking mess.... Plus all the acts are weak for the most part outside of Stevie Wonder.

Calling for 1 million people in a space that can hold 200k at best. Local Hospitals are on standby for the waves of people they are expecting and to really make it fun, its in the 90's here with high humidity......

Hopefully nothing bad happens... Im just pissed that the traffic snarl is going to be unreal to say the least....

I hate that fucking town...no offense, but I really hate it. Been there twice and I'll never go back. The cheesesteak thing is a myth. It's just a clever tourist trap, I've tried 5 different places and each one sucked worse than the last. Too many thugs and wigger fucks up there too.

last time i went to visit Philly it was a blast. lost my voice, got drunk, and hooked up with some girls. what is there to complain about :)

You are clueless..And u live in Atlanta--that fucken place is a sewer.....Phila is the best and has the best food anywhere..I've been many places and I can't ever wait to get back...

BTW--less people born and raised in Phila area move away than any other city is the US.....we might hit Fl in the winter but we all come back...

I've only been to Philly once. Went downtown which seems to be rather dirty compared to other cities I have been in. Ate a some cheesesteak place downtown where it seemed alot of celebs had been. Was damn good.

In the past 10 years Philly Center city has become 1 of the hottest cities there is. Great 5 star resturaunts, great clubs and completly wacked out. Real estate has gone through the roof.

Prior to 90's I agree but since then our Center City has become 1 of the nicest places to hang...

Although I don't know the real estate situation in Phily, I can promise you it's nothing near as bad as it is in Jersey.

Anyone coming into Philly go to any one of Steven Starr's resturaunts.
