War of the Worlds review
 

I saw it yesterday at opening night here in LA, and here it was i had to say:

The plot and characted development was weak
Most of what was happening didn't make much sense...

Tom Cruise was great as always
That Dakota girl was SOOOO fucking annoying, I just wanted to slap her...

But 1 thing, it LOOKED Fantastic... the scenery, the way it all happened

VERY comparable to Independance day and Day After Tomorrow


I give it: 6/10
worth seeing on the big screen for all the special effects

Actually, I really enjoyed it. It was a great roller coaster ride....just amazing affects, the acting was actually good, AND it stayed true to the original story.


DEFINITLY worth seeing, especially on the big screen.

I liked the alien's arrival the best by far........the bombastic music accompanied by what was going on was harrowing ( i can't say what was going as i don't want to spoil it for those that haven't seen it yet )
