Did anyone see Tom Cruise's recent criticism of Brooke Shields taking Paxil to combat depression? Cruise has no apparent education other than the celebrity center for Scientology in Hollywood but he claims he has personally gotten people off drugs. I am getting sick of him just act in your crappy movie and STFU. Did anyone catch War of The Worlds Today?

He is a fucking wierdo. When the dude sprayed him with water Tom says "...I'm nice enough to stop and talk to you..." what a fucking hoser that guy is. Seriously, he's good at pretending to be things and pretending to do things. i'm boycotting his bonehead films.

Just for the alien's arrival, the show is most certainly worth it. Its nothing but terror and the bombastic music of John Williams just makes that sequence simply outstanding.

However, some have complained the meat of the story is thin on plot. This is true. The movie to sum up is one long nightmare. And for those complaining about the ending? If you think about it, its extremely plausible so I had no problem at all with the ending, which I will not give away, of course.

So, no, you can't go wrong seeing this movie. But most will go to it only once, imo.

i'll get my chance next week, just too busy this week working on a site.

i have used to have 2 buddies that took the drugs up until they were 20 and let me tell you they were both right fucked up.

shaky hands, way to skinny, never wanting to eat anything, unhealthy etc.

also everytime they wanted to say something they would almost half stutter as if there was a block in their brains.

it got worse and worse since the first year i met them.

how good can it be? the story is dumb. the earth gets attacked and a guy and his kid run for their lives for 2 hrs.

I think that Tom is one of those closet assholes that is spoiled and used to getting his own way on everything. Once someone is into themselves so heavily for so long they start to lose it and everyone starts to see through their bullshit.
