What's hurting the industry far more than 2257...
 

The excessive use of the word FREE. Its a joke and makes our industry look like a joke. How many sites hail their site as FREE, FREE, FREE, ABSOLUTELY FREE, NO BULLSHIT, 100% FREE, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? ITS FREE.

Then when the surfer clicks on it, it asks for a credit card and the majority of the time it is a trial offer of $3 or something followed by insane monthly rates. Its gotten beyond the point of semantics. Its flat out lying. (certain cam sites are great at this. NewsFlash: When you offer a sex show for free but all you get is a girl drinking a diet soda clothed and if you want to see the advertised sex show you have to pay upwards of $5 a minute to take her private, YOU ARE LYING.)

I recieved an email today from a sponsor asking me to promote their site. "Its an easy sale, its completely 100% free to the surfer, why wouldnt they sign up. Its Free" Then goes on to say that I get paid 50% rev-share. ummmm

I highly doubt they think that webmasters are that stupid and will promote a site for 50% of Free, im assuming they have to charge something. Well, note to the math majors, 100% Free leaves nothing to split. You're either lying to me, or you want me to lie to the surfer.

Even with Adult, if you fuck the customer long enough (as with any business) they will stop purchasing your product.

program owners and affiliates treat this industry just like the europeans and americans did when they came to the wild west in the late 1800's, looking to hunt buffalo for sport. There were 10's of millions of buffalo and within a decade or so they were near extinction. They thought it was never ending bounty. :Oh crap
