Adwords is really fucking annoying...
 

So before I went to bed last night I changed up my campaign obviously to improve results and what not... Well I wake up this am, check stats, and for some reason my ads are not displaying... They all say active.. they did display 6 times... But after that nothing...

I am going to have to call these fuckers up... Traffic should of started to flow already...

You would think these guys would have this shit worked out better and what not....

Anyone got the number to their customer service?

Those guys add new crazy rules every single day, not worth it anymore.. Sometimes they let your campaign go and sure enough 2 days later its suspended for some stupid reason like spelling "ass" like "azz"

if i can say ass on tv, i should be able to say it on google haha.

Go to the nearest Wal-mart and ask them where they keep this latest gadget called the "shockfucker". It clips to your keyboard and lets you configure a certain key that enables you to send a mild shock through the internet to shock whatever fucker you're in communication with. Works with ICQ, AOL, email or MSN.

Get the new Shockfucker, and shock that fucker who's been annoying the shit out of you.

it's annoying. you have to check at least 3 or 4 times a day if your "keywords are performing well".

very often the costs go through the roof, too these days.
advertising on google slowly becomes a full time job :mad:
however, as long as I make some profit with it...

There's reasons why they stop, and only time spent playing with it will you discover them all...

It's pretty much clearly stated that they do not tolerate any forms of intentional misspellings, etc.

I haven't had too many problems with Adwords. Just keep your CTR rate up and follow the editorial guidelines.

I've had my campaigns suspended maybe three times. Once it was a bad CTR, another time a misspelling, and another my CC got declined (no fucking clue why.)

Can be a pain sometimes. Like when you add keywords to a brand new campaign and they're "On Hold" before it's even active, lol.

Nothing new, since they started they like to play god because they can.

No equally good alternatives, no need to change anything for them.

Depends on the product, keywords and your ability to write a good AdWords advertising line.

amateur site, amateur porn type keywords, with copy that is specific and compliant with adwords rules....

I was getting ctrs all over the board with those keywords... anything from 2% to 7%... But the conversion ratios were horrible...

Thanks! Obviously... 2% with good conversion is better than 7% with crappy conversions but we have no problem on the conversions so I am just wondering how to get the CTR higher...

Use text like FREE, ONLY TODAY etc. but don't expect better results :winkwink:

Rather target more new keywords than doing text experiments that could cost you lots of money.

I will set up separate campaigns to test ad text and try more variety on offer hooks in the ads to see what works.

We no longer offer free trials but we could do free dvds... who wouldn't click through for those, right?
